Welcome to Little Wanderer! This is a little log of hikes my border collie and I take together. She's the reason we go out as often as we do — nose to the ground, ears up, tail going like a metronome whenever she sees a trail sign.

I started this site because I kept forgetting which trails had good shade, which ones allowed off-leash time, and which creek crossings turned into full swim sessions. Now I write it all down here.
